17.02 Wilsons Promontory: Walk Up Mount Oberon
We spent the night in Yanakie Caravan Park, sleeping in the back of the Magna again! The campsites in the National Park were all full, so this was the nearest campsite to the Park. The site didn't have a camp kitchen though, so we ate in the Park on the barbeques there!
After cooking our bacon sandwiches, a tea & latte at the small cafe, we decided that we'd do a little walk, well, it was 3.4km (one way) to the summit of Mount Oberon! We didn't quite realise what we would see at the top, but it was absolutely stunning! The views just showed how stunning Wilsons Promontory really is, with the white sands and clear blue water!
