27.12 Adelaide to Melbourne

We left Port Willunga at 9am and headed back to Melbourne for the night. There was a bit of a delay at Wellington for the ferry, as there was a bit of a queue!

The South GrampiansThe South GrampiansThe South GrampiansWe took a slightly different route home to the one we came on, after it had been suggested to go via the South Grampians. It was a very scenic drive, although it did take us 9 hours to get back, and there was another two days of driving coming up!!

24.12 Christmas: Christmas Eve

Port Willunga BeachHmm, not quite the weather we were expecting on Christmas Eve in Oz! It wasn't quite as cold as people look. Karl is wrapped up as he spent a little too long in the sun at Glenelg!

The evening was spent in Adelaide with the family...

Dad, Me & MumWaiting for the Tram!

Is that the right colour?Don't recognise the colour of this one, but it must be right! We took the tram from Glenelg to the Rundle Street Mall in the city. By the way, for future reference, if you're ever asked whether you have a concession card for the tram, don't say 'YHA', it just doesn't wash. We had a conductor that every time he asked you a question and you thought about your answer, he would run through all the options with you again. Fortunately we weren't the only ones to suffer this, as by the end of the journey we were word perfect with every response that he had! We have two words for him... ticket machine! That'll scare him, in fact I think it might even be more personable!!
